Carla Sanchez is an Ecuadorian mixed media artist based in Los Angeles, California. Her work explores the raptures that emerge in the spaces between dreams and reality through painting and drawing.

She merges traditional techniques with contemporary visual languages and timeless symbols of nature and ontology, producing vibrant pieces that evoke raw emotion and self-reflection.

After earning her MFA from Cardiff Metropolitan University in Wales, UK, Carla exhibited in regional and international galleries and participated in multiple artist residency programs, including the Akiyoshidai International Art Village in Akiyoshi, Japan, and the Frans Masereel Centrum in Belgium. Her background in sequential art significantly influences her approach to composition and pictorial expression.
